Network
The Panther Express global network is comprised of 45 Points of Presence (POPs) in 23 cities worldwide, with multiple nodes in each POP. The current active POPs are located in the following cities worldwide:
North America: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, and Washington DC.
Europe: Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Stockholm
Asia/Pacific: Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo
Architecture
Panther Express has developed and implemented a worldwide network of servers to reliably and quickly deliver web content. We have designed our network based on ten years of best practice experience and hands-on operational knowledge. (note that they can refer to a more detailed tech review for their SEs or something)
Caching Software
Our custom cache server software was built specifically for the delivery of HTTP content over the Internet. It was optimized to work within Panther Express' architecture providing enhanced performance, reliability and scalability.

Video and Audio Delivery
Progressive Download Seek: allows users to jump to any part of a video or audio file
Throttling: limits the rate at which the browser downloads the video saving bandwidth costs
Origin Scalability
Shielding: ensures highest cache hit rates and origin scalability with tiered caching, even with long-tail content types
Content Protection
Referrer Checking: protects your monetization of your content by assuring other sites are not embedding it
Authentication: also ensures only authorized users are accessing content
Content Cache Control
Flushing: easily controls content delivery by deleting cache files through a web portal or programmatically through a web service
